Here’s a special gift for your furry friends and family members. Our dogs go crazy for these treats. Just make sure you use carob chips (instead of chocolate) to keep your pup safe.
Ingredients:
4 cups carob chips
1/2 cup smooth peanut butter
1 cup unsalted peanuts
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
Directions:
Line a cookie sheet with aluminum foil and spray with non-stick cooking spray. Melt the carob chips and peanut butter in the microwave or in a double-boiler on the stove. Stir until the mixture is smooth.
Stir in the peanuts and cinnamon.
Pour the mixture onto the cookie sheet, spread evenly with a spatula, and allow it to set completely in the refrigerator—or in the freezer for about 15 minutes if you’re in a hurry!
Break the bark into pieces, tuck them into a tin or gift bag, and share! Don’t forget the gift tag!
